Live Event Painting - Further Information
Since branching out into live wedding painting I've fallen in love with capturing your big day as it unfolds - and it makes for a beautiful keepsake!
How it works
Before your event, I will contact you to go over the exciting details of what scene you'd like captured in paint. This could even include family members, sentimental details or even your pets! On your wedding day, I will aim to arrive approximately 2 hours before guests to set up and start putting down the base layers. As the day unfolds, your painting will turn from a blank canvas into a painting of your venue with you and your guests included. I also welcome guests to speak to me and watch the process as I work.
Do you travel to venues across the UK?
Absolutely! I am a South-Wales based artist however I am more than willing to travel to your venue - both across the UK and abroad to capture your love story! Depending upon exact locations I will have to factor in an extra fee to cover travel and accommodation. An estimated quote will be provided after specifying your venue location.
What will you paint?
You can choose any scene of your choice, for example the ceremony, exchange of rings, a couple portrait outside your venue, your first dance etc - it's completely up to you! I would love to talk to you in detail about what memory want captured.
How long will it take?
On average, I aim to complete your painting within 6-8 hours. I will stay at your event until it is complete, and you will get the take your painting home with you at the end of the night. If for any reason I am unable to finish for you on the day, I will complete your canvas back in my studio before posting it to you.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Bookings are currently open for 2025/26 dates, however spaces are filling fast. If I'm available for your date, I would be honoured to be a part of your day - whether it be in a week, next month, or next year. Send me an email to check availability.
Pricing
I charge £865 for a large 20x24" canvas, with me painting at your venue until it's finished. Paintings are completed in acrylic paint on a deep-framed canvas (around 1.2" thick). I ask for a £200 deposit to secure your wedding date, and the remaining balance of £665 to be paid by 8 weeks before your wedding. Any additional costs (travel/accommodation) will be paid for upon booking.
